Happy Father’s Day to the man who has never just been my father.
You have been my fiercest critic, my safest sounding board, my co-strategist, my intellectual sparring partner, and the person who understands my way of thinking before I have even finished explaining it.
Between Canada and Lebanon, we have spent countless hours questioning assumptions, dismantling ideas, rebuilding projects, disagreeing passionately, and somehow always ending up stronger.
I live a little through your projects.
You live a little through mine.
There is an invisible thread between us that distance has never weakened and that no one has ever managed to break.
People often ask where my drive comes from.
The truth is, part of it comes from you seeing something in me long before I could see it myself.
You have always looked at me as if nothing were impossible, as if obstacles were simply puzzles waiting to be solved. You believed I was unstoppable with such unwavering conviction that, somewhere along the way, I became exactly that.
You didn’t just encourage me. You shaped the way I see myself, the way I approach challenges, and the way I refuse to let limitations define what is possible.
Your faith in me became my own.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad.
I would choose you as my father every time. But even more than that, I would choose you as my partner in thought, in purpose, and in dreaming big, in every lifetime. ❤️
