EDI AGORA TALK – Nadia Naffi: AI and Information Warfare

This EDI Agora Talk is hosted by Fondazione Morra Greco, as part of the EDI Global Forum 2026 Public Program.

Today’s information warfare does not move only through spectacular fake content, deepfakes, or visibly manipulated media. It also travels through everyday cultural objects, aesthetic forms, and seemingly harmless formats that can shape narratives, normalize positions, and influence public perception. This talk will explore how AI-generated media and familiar cultural forms are transforming trust, knowledge, and public meaning, and why cultural institutions are not peripheral to this issue: they are key spaces where publics learn to interpret images, narratives, memory, and power.

An open community discussion will follow moderated by Christian Larsen and Sylvain Bellenger, EDI Directors.
